The Californian rabbit is renowned for its striking appearance, inheriting its distinctive colouring from the Ch gene, also known as the Himalayan gene. With its distinctive white fur and contrasting dark points on the nose, ears, feet, and tail, it's easily recognizable.
Interestingly, the hue of their ears, nose, and feet darkens in colder climates. Known for their gentle demeanour, Californian rabbits are popular as pets and show animals.
