Are dogs permitted onsite? Yes, dogs are welcome in all our outdoor areas on site. However, we kindly request that they remain on a lead at all times. Please note that dogs are not permitted in indoor areas, including our tropical house in the zoo. Nevertheless, they are allowed inside our croc house, which is an additional building utilized by our tea room.

Are gift cards available for purchase? Certainly! We offer gift cards that can be bought directly from our farm shop. While online purchases are not currently available, we provide a convenient over-the-phone service. If you're not in close proximity, you can pay over the phone and have the gift card sent to you for an additional £2 postage fee. These gift cards are valid for one year and can be utilized in all areas of our site, including our exciting animal experiences.

Is online ticket booking available? Currently, online ticket booking is not available. However, we are actively exploring online booking services that may be introduced later this year. It's important to note that for our zoo, pre-booking is not required. You can conveniently pay for your admission on arrival at the zoo gate or at our farm shop.

Where can I make the payment for zoo entry? You can make payment for zoo entry at our dedicated zoo gate, situated to the left of our car park. Additionally, on less busy days, we may request customers to process their payments at our farm shop.

Am I allowed to bring a picnic? Unfortunately, no. To maintain affordable zoo prices and ensure the well-being of our animals, we encourage customers to dine in our tea room or steakhouse during their visit. Keeping our zoo prices low is essential to make it accessible to families with lower incomes.

Is your venue wheelchair accessible? Yes, we strive to be wheelchair accessible. We provide disabled parking next to our farm shop and in front of the steakhouse entrance. Accessible toilets are available in both the steakhouse and tea room. Additionally, we have gravel paths throughout our zoo and woodland walk to facilitate wheelchair access.

Are mobility scooters available for rent on-site? No, unfortunately, we do not have mobility scooters available for rent on-site. However, we are committed to ensuring accessibility for all visitors. Our staff is more than happy to assist if needed.

Is there complimentary admission for carers? Yes, carers do receive free admission; however, we kindly request reasonable documentation as proof of their caregiving role.

What are your weekly opening hours? Presently, we are open six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday. Please be aware that various areas of our site may have different opening times. We recommend checking the full schedule on our homepage for specific details.

Is parking available? Yes, we have a gravel car park on site. Additionally, during the summer months, we open an additional overflow car park for added convenience.

Is there disabled parking available? Yes, we have designated disabled parking spaces located next to our farm shop and in front of our steakhouse for the convenience of our visitors.

Do we need to make reservations for the Steakhouse and Tea Room? Reservations are not mandatory for our dining locations, but we do recommend pre-booking for the steakhouse. Presently, we do not accept reservations for the tea room, although we appreciate advance notice from customers planning to visit with large parties.

What is the cost of zoo admission? Reservations are not mandatory for our dining locations, butAt present, our zoo ticket prices are £4 for adults and £3 for children. There is no requirement for pre-booking; tickets can be conveniently purchased at our zoo gate or in our farm shop.

Is online ordering available for your butchers? Currently, we do not accept online orders for our butchers. However, you can place orders via phone for collection at our farm shop. To order from the butchers, please call 01487 824658 and select option 1.
